One of the busiest international Canadian actor of Pakistani origin, who has created a name for himself as the “Beeba Boy” in the Canadian industry and now newly reignited Pakistani film industry, is Ali Kazmi. If genes are responsible for giving us many skills, Ali can easily stand at the top of the line for his parents Actors and Directors-Rahat Kazmi & Sahira Kazmi, sister Nida Kazmi and Grandfather, Bollywood actor Shyam) are great names in arts and entertainment business in South Asia. He calls the experience, “growing up in a warm, fuzzy and loving film school!".

An alumni of Toronto Film School, Kazmi has been working successfully both on and off camera, in Pakistan, Canada & USA for the last 17 years in the creative fields of theater, television & film. Ali has a penchant for languages and can speak English, Urdu, Hindi ,Punjabi, Persian, Pashto/Dari, French(basic) and Arabic. He has amassed a portfolio, peppered with multi-layered diverse characters. His current string of hits include, TV series- Baaghi, Jaal, and Films- Laal Kabootar, the super hit “ Baaji” and new release, a mega starrer “Superstar” as he invites the audience of TD Mosaic Festival in person along with his co star Mahira Khan.

He believes that "One cannot portray life on screen if one has not lived it!" He is a marathoner, triathlete, certified scuba diver. adventurer, traveller & dreamer. He is known for acclaimed director Deepa Mehta's crime drama, "Beeba Boys", "Sardaarji", Paksitani /US drama "Jackson heights" , HUMtv drama "Sehra mein Safar" and soon to be seen in Mehreen Jabbar’s upcoming film "Dobara phir Se."

Aside from acting and hosting he keeps his creative juices flowing, working as a Freelance Creative consultant for many prestigious ad agencies and host for various shows around the world.
